KINGSTON, Jamaica – Talented apprentice Raddesh Roman teamed-up with trainer Marvin Campbell to win their first race of 2020. This was the fourth of 10 races on today's Saturday card at Caymanas Park
Five-year-old bay mare Blusie owned by Oakridge Farms went to the lead when the gates opened signalling the start of the race, Restricted Allowance contest over a trip of 6 ½ furlongs.
Blusie running at odds of 5-1 held the lead coming into the straight but Roman had to ride for all he was worth to hold off the sustained challenge of Nyoka Classic ridden by Trevor Simpson racing at odds of 3-1.
My Mom Juss (Kiaman McGregor – 9-5) finished in the third slot.
