Race 1 - Galway Bay has been competitive against better and though that was ages ago, doesn't face any world beaters here and will be tough to beat. It's All I is the speed and only has the top pick to hold off. Mansur Musur has shown more than the rest and should at least pick up third. 6-8-1-2

Race 2 - Sea Cruise is probably best served by this trip and should get the job done in this company. Timeforakola's last run against the top pick puts him squarely in the mix and should complete the exacta. Doctor Grey also exits the same race and should pick up a piece late. 3-8-4-6

Race 3 - Lord Ashton just failed in a sharp effort off the claim on Jan 23. He loves the trip and rates as the firm selection. Anaso gets much needed class relief and must be a live contender from the outside post. Lala Diva returns quickly off the claim after failing as the favourite last week and should earn a share behind the top two. 2-8-7-3

Race 4 - Commissioner improved with first Lasix when chasing the out of class Helicopter relentlessly and is strictly the one to beat. Sniper Man and Born Diplomat have had their chances but fit well here and ought to hit the board. Nina Dorada has run well enough in recent races to be given an outside chance. Adoring Sammie is not fancied, and Ultimatum would be a shock.

Race 5 - Don't have much of an opinion here. Breaking Storm, Awesome Aviator and Big Paul exit the same Jan 9 heat and figure to take all the action. Tepid preference for Breaking Storm who is ideally suited to 6f and not as exposed as the rest. Musketoon flopped as the favourite against easier last week but has the ability to win this and can't be ruled out.

Race 6 - Suasion had a rough passage from her inside post when favoured on last but should work out a decent trip from the #13 post and rates as the top pick. Kay Boy draws the rail again but is coming around and should factor in the outcome. Attorney General tries blinkers again but will probably just plod home again for a slice. 13-1-7-4

Race 7 - Ridewiththemob faces a tough challenge drawn wide over this snappy trip, but will get the pace up front and can get up in time. Papa Albert is logical, but has his issues. Boss Izzy is likely to sit a good trip off the speed and should factor late. 11-5-3-4

Race 8 - Awesome Treasure figures to get a dream trip over the ideal distance and is strictly the one to beat. Money Monster certainly has the ability to win this and should do better here. Big Big Daddy is super fit and merits consideration for a placing on that basis alone. 2-1-7-6

Race 9 - Magical Mood finished a decent 4th behind two subsequent runaway winners when last seen in December. She is the firm pick against this bunch. Jahsendblessings is an obvious contender based on recent form. Katalina ran well over a mile back in November, and can pick up a piece late. Bridal Blush has ability and can upset with Lasix added. 4-3-14-15
