With votes submitted by 14 of the 15 Horse of the Year voting committee members, RIDEALLDAY (USA) was chosen as the 2025 Horse of the Year. All 14 voting members cast their ballots for Rideallday.
A three-year-old grey colt RIDEALLDAY (Vekoma out of Song of Hours by Unbridled Song) earned $30,260,800 after winning seven races from eight (8) starts. His victories included: The Bigmanintown Trophy – 8 furlongs, The Poorlittlerichgirl Trophy – seven and a half furlongs, The Port Royal Sprint (GR1) – six furlongs and the Mouttet Mile (GR1).
The Philip Feanny conditioned RIDEALLDAY, sporting the pink with yellow stars and white sleeves silks of Cassiopea Racing Inc. Ltd was also voted Champion three-year-old, Champion Middle Distance Performer overall, and Champion Foreign Bred overall. He is groomed by Devon Biggs and was bred by Nirvana Farm LLC (USA).
LEGACY ISLE(USA) (Shackleford out of Queenameina by Readthefootnotes) and MOJITO (Savoy Stomp out of Fiftyshardesofray by Zanjero) were voted first and second runner up respectively, to the Horse-of-the-Year.
LEGACY ISLE was victorious in The Omar Walker, Harlequin Cup, The SVL’S 24th Anniversary Trophy (GR1), The None Such Sprint (GR1), the Philip Feanny Gold Cup (GR1) and The Christopher Armond Memorial Sprint (GR1) was voted Champion Sprinter overall and Champion four-year-old & up overall. He is owned by Dennis Smith, Daniel Walters and Rohan Crichton (trainer). He is groomed by Howard Anglin and was bred in the USA by Erv Woolsey and Ralph Kinder.
The Jamaica Cup (GR.1) hero MOJITO was also voted Champion Stayer overall and Champion Local Bred. He is owned and bred by Alexander Haber and Richard Azan (trainer). He is groomed by Riverton Nelson.
