Any number can play in 3-year-old maiden call | Sat, Oct 28. 2023
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The sixth of ten events on Saturday, October 28, at Caymanas Park is a three-year-old maiden race featuring 13 horses.
Below is The Quick Gallop's analysis in draw order.
– HERE COMES KEN, a bay colt by Here Comes Ben out of Sparkling Michaela, has yet to make an impression in his 13 starts. Trained by Winston Morris with Richard Henry aboard.
– HOME ALONE, a bay colt by Soul Warrior out of Nuclear Princess, is known for inconsistent appearances. Having placed twice before, Home Alone finished sixth on October 15. The reduced distance might suit him better. Trained by Michael Cain with Shane Richardson riding.
– HERE COMES DOC, a bay colt by Bern Identity out of Indian Bluff, has performed decently in most of his nine races. To win this one, he'll need everything to go his way. Racing without blinkers and trained by Gary Griffiths with Anthony Allen aboard.
– SHE'S STYLISH is a bay filly by Stylish Jac out of Janet Classic. Trained by Dale Murphy with Paul Francis in the saddle. Does not enter winning consideration.
– DIMETRY P is a bay colt by Savoy Stomp out of Full Force. With only one start under his belt, he's still gaining racing experience. Trained by Colin Ferguson with Marshall Porter aboard.
– TOKILLAMOCKINGBIRD, a bay colt by Lion Tamer out of Newton's First Law, can be ruled out as a contender. Racing with blinkers and trained by Marlon Anderson with Abigail Able in the saddle.
– DREAM WORRIOR, a bay colt by Soul Worrior out of Dream Come True, is still learning the ropes. Trained by Byron Davis with Odeen Edwards aboard.
– BAD INVESTMENT, a bay colt by Casual Trick out of My Angel Briannah, is getting closer to shedding his maiden status. Despite being the heaviest handicapped, his consistency makes him a logical choice. Trained by Oral Hayden with Robert Halledeen riding.
– SWEET VICTORY, a grey filly by Spieth out of Bitter End, has been improving steadily. Racing with a visor and ridden by in-form jockey Tevin Foster, she has a reasonable chance of success. Trained by Howard Jaghai.
– LION CHARMER, a chestnut filly by Lion Tamer out of Charming Beauty, has disappointed thus far despite heavy backing. However, she could spring a surprise and is worth considering for trifecta, hi-five, and superfecta wagers. Jockey Roger Hewitt aboard.
– CAPTAIN PHILIP, a chestnut colt by Hedge Fund out of Kandi With A K, has 13 starts to his name. After showing promise on October 15, the ideal distance and thriving trainer put him in prime position to win. Trained by Gary Griffiths with Oshane Nugent riding.
– PRINCESS TALISE, a bay filly by Savoy Stomp out of Dancing Queen, is steadily improving. Her outsider's chance for victory makes her a good bet for hi-five, trifecta, and superfecta wagers. Trained by Lawrence Freemantle with Reyan Lewis in the saddle.
– GAME TO FAME is a bay gelding by Resurgence out of No Pain No Gain. This newcomer will learn from the experience. Trained by Al Brown with Youville Pinnock aboard.
