The third race on Saturday, January 31, 2026, is a three-year-old maiden call going 6 ½ furlongs.

The Quick Galloper’s analysis of the six starters is provided below for the benefit of readers.

1 – MINNEHAHA

A bay filly (Feb 23) by Savoy Stomp out of Red Gold. Making her debut, Minnehaha has shown readiness in the mornings, clocking 1:02.2 for five furlongs and 1:17.0 for six furlongs. She appears fit enough for 6½ furlongs and should acquit herself well first time out. Verdict: Nicely prepared debutante, capable of a bold showing.

2 – LONDON SPIRIT

A bay colt (Feb 6) by Bern Identity out of Blufield, who finished a distant seventh in the Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes (1 mile) on Boxing Day 2025. Returned in January over seven furlongs, running second to stablemate Bigger Boss. London Spirit is a strong run-on type, but 6½ furlongs may prove sharp. Verdict: Will be finishing late, but trip looks on the short side.

3 – RED THIRTYTWO

A bay colt (Mar 9) by Hedge Fund out of Roses For Elle. Debuted with a 6¾ length defeat. Now races with first-time Lasix, but little improvement is expected. Verdict: Needs more time; unlikely to feature prominently.

4 – SENOR BISCOTTI

A bay colt (Feb 6) by Savoy Stomp out of Baby P. Finished eighth in the Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes (1 mile) and has not raced since. Blinkers come off today, but he will need the run to regain sharpness. Verdict: Fitness a concern; best watched.

5 – BRILLIANT BOY

A chestnut colt (Apr 29) by Bern Identity out of Mete-Orite. Two starts have offered little encouragement. Blinkers are applied, but winning prospects remain slim. Verdict: Yet to show ability; hard to recommend.

 6 – PASSION AND BEYOND

Passion And Beyond is a late non-starter.

7 – CODE RED

A chestnut colt (May 4) by Aveenu Malcainu out of Eighteen Karat. Ran on well in debut on Jan 3, finishing fifth, 5¾ lengths adrift. With tongue tie fitted, further improvement is possible. Verdict: Could sneak into the frame with progress.
