Anthony Thomas Expected To Be Out For 5 Months After Fall

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Former champion jockey Anthony Thomas, currently riding at Gulfstream Park in South Florida, USA, is expected to be sidelined for nearly 5 months after a fall.

Known locally as "St. Mary", Thomas suffered the fall during an exercise session on Saturday, July 27, when the horse he was riding flipped and landed on his right leg just above the knee.

Despite the incident, Thomas remained in good spirits and is expected to work closely with the medical team to make a speedy recovery and return to the saddle.
