KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was an easy win for the Anthony Nunes trained Task Force in the second of nine races on offer today (Saturday, December 5) at Caymanas Park.
Task Force racing in a $550,000 - $500,000 claimer with Dick Cardenas aboard disputed the early lead with Big Mama (Matthew Bennett) before pulling away in the straight. Task Force clocked 1:20.2 for 6 ½ furlongs winning by 5 1/2 lengths.
Second was Night Light (Samantha Fletcher) and third Killer Bee (Dane Nelson).
With this win Nunes increased his lead in the trainers’ championship ahead of Wayne DaCosta.
