KINGSTON, Jamaica – In his best performance ever, Another Bullet, the tough and resilient seven-year-old bay horse was just crowned the 2019 Caribbean Sprint Champion with another determined and classy effort to win for the first time - the Grade One – six-furlong event.

Drawn on the wide outside, with Shane Ellis aboard, Another Bullet watched as the noted speedsters Exhilarate (Aaron Chatrie) and Mr Universe (Omar Walker) went about their speeding mission at the front of the pack.

Mr Universe, rated well by Walker made his move for victory leaving the three-furlong marker and entered the last two furlongs of the straight as the lone leader. By this time Ellis, was in full motion on Another Bullet who responded in typical dogged fashion passing Mr Universe without any difficulty winning easily by 1 ¾ lengths.

Second was Mr Universe with rank outsider, Bruce Wayne (Linton Steadman) third.

The win by Another Bullet owned Tainya Kerr provided trainer Patrick Lynch with his third on the first day of the Superstakes Weekend of racing.

Tomorrow day two is going to unfold with the running of the 10-furlong Superstakes and the Invitational Mile.
