KINGSTON, Jamaica – It is an unlikely occurrence, yet Christmas is in the air, and the unexpected can always happen.
On Saturday, December 18, 2021, five capable punters were able to catch the Reggae 6 (two); the first Pick 5 (one), and the Twilight 6 (two), with each of the aforementioned wagers paying out over $1 million.
Let’s start with the Reggae 6. There were two winners of the Reggae 6 with each receiving a payout of $1,986,211. One of the Reggae 6 winners purchased the winning ticket in Spanish Town spending $1,280, while the other Reggae 6 millionaire spent $6,480 on the winning ticket in Hellshire, St Catherine.
The lone winner of the first Pick 5 collected $2,065,849 after spending $51,840 in Negril.
There were two winners of the Twilight 6, with each winner going home with $2,475,823. One of the Twilight 6 winners, purchased the winning ticket in Lionel Town, Clarendon, spending only $1,440, while the second winning ticket was purchased in Spanish Town for $16,200.
