KINGSTON, Jamaica – The draw for barrier positions for the 2022 THE PORTMORE has been completed with nine fillies entered in the 7 ½ - furlong event scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Caymanas Park.
The expected two main combatants, Atomica, trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins in the irons, and Golden Wattle conditioned by champion Anthony Nunes with regular rider Tevin Foster aboard have both received favourable draws.
Atomica, unbeaten in her three starts to date will go from post-position number five and Golden Wattle from seven.
