KINGSTON, Jamaica – The post-position numbers have been drawn for the 2022 running of the three-year-old fillies only - one mile Classic, the 1000 Guineas. The season’s first Classic event takes place at Caymanas Park next Saturday, June 4.
With only eight starters, the odds-makers at QUICKGALLOP.COM have shorten the price on the favourite Atomica from 1-2 to 1-5.
The other seven horses in the 1000 have all had their odds lengthened. Golden Wattle, despite some discouraging runs leading into the 1000, remains as the firm second choice moving from 9-2 to 6-1.
