KINGSTON, Jamaica – At the start of last weekend’s (June 4-5) Guineas race days, champion jockey Anthony Thomas was four wins ahead his nearest rival Dane Dawkins. Then in the third slot was Tevin Foster with 27 wins.
Of the jockeys, Dawkins came out on top over the Guineas weekend with three wins, Hidden Valley, Atomica on the Saturday (June 4), and Laban on the Sunday. Omar Walker, who is not on the top 10 list also had three winners over the two days.
Thomas was winless on the Saturday card but rebounded on Sunday with two wins, Baltusrol and I Realise. Foster was also winless on both Saturday and Sunday.
