KINGSTON, Jamaica – Abogado made amends after being disqualified when last at the races, landing the sixth race on the 60th anniversary programme a short while ago at Caymanas Park.
With champion jockey Anthony Thomas in the saddle, Abogado trained by Gregory Forsyth fought for the lead with Dango with Aaron Chatrie in the saddle and even after disposing of Dango, Abogado had to fight off the challenge of the on-rushing Man In Blue with Samantha Fletcher aboard.
Man in Blue was second with Reign Over All.
This was the first winner for Forsyth this season.
