KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former top apprentice Prince “Daggerman” Holder who has had many down times in his relatively short career as a reinsman rode a peach of a race to secure victory in the 10th on Nala’s Bushman.

Holder held Nala’s Bushman trained by Michael Marlowe well of the pace set by Crucial’s Treasure (Dane Dawkins) in the nine furlongs and 25 yards event.

Still way behind the leaders in fifth place when Pure Heart (Raddesh Roman 2-1) took over leaving the half mile, Nala’s Bushman was pushed closer by Holder.

Entering the straight, it was Pure Heart and Rack Away (Roger Hewitt) fighting tooth and nail for the victory with Nala’s Bushman just starting to motor. Then using his staying ability and strong hands from Holder, Nala’s Bushman  brushed by Pure Heart scoring in the end by three lengths. Pure Heart was second and Rack Away third.
