KINGSTON, Jamaica - Long-standing trainer Arnold Rambally was in his ‘ackee’ on Saturday, May 25, 2024, leading two of his three horses into the winners’ enclosure.

His first winner came in the fifth race when Tevin Foster piloted Who Doneit to victory by 4 ¼ lengths in the 6 ½ furlong call.

Rambally quickly followed up in the sixth, when Boasey obliged coming down the five straight chute with Marshall Porter in the saddle.

For trainer Rambally, these two wins could not have come at a better time.

“I have been around racing for a long time. There have been some major personal setbacks but I have been able with the help of God, and those close to me to deal with those issues.

“I won with Who Doneit late last year, so the double today (May 25) was right on time. I recently got Boasey in the stables, so for him to achieve success so quickly is particularly pleasing,” Rambally said in his post-race interview.

He added: “It has been difficult recently, as apart from Who Doneit and now Boasey, I have only one other horse, maiden at the stables. Yet, I will continue to work with what I have, and hope for the best.”
