KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Youville Pinnock bided his time well on Another Cookie to snatch the lead leaving the three-furlong marker in the Caymanas Saturday second and that was that for the rest of the field.

Competing in a three-year-old and upwards Optional Claiming ($550,000 - $500,000) contest, Another Cookie trained by Everal Francis tracked the pace setting Queen Deftiny (Harriston Lewis), for most of the 7 ½ furlongs distance.

After gaining the ascendency, Another Cookie went on to win for the first time in nine starts.

Second was Lion’s Den (Dick Cardenas) with third going to Mighty Chelsea (Anthony Thomas).

The 1-2 favourite Purposely (Omar Walker) was a no-show finishing in fifth place.
