KINGSTON, Jamaica – After much waiting it has finally happened for apprentice Chad Forbes. Forbes rode his first winner on the Rowan Mathie conditioned Six Avenue, in a close battle with Christopher Mamdeen on Hopenperseverance. At one time, in the final furlong, Hopenperseverance held the advantage but Forbes rallied Six Avenue to earn a deserved win.
