KINGSTON, Jamaica – For this Sunday’s (April 17) race meet, THE QUICK WHISPERER gets brave while still staying in the main with the exacta wager. Other bets are also included but the emphasis will be on the exactas.
Four races (the fourth, the seventh, the eighth and the ninth) are targeted on the Sunday card of April 17.
The fourth race is a $250,000 - $200,000 claimer going six furlongs with 10 horses entered. As is usually the case in races like these any number can play, so, leaving the pre-race main aspirants is not going too far. More than likely, Voytek will be a big seller but THE BRAVE WHISPERER has decided to go with an exacta box of Sir Arjun Babu, Kingswood, and Jamal James. Add Voytek for the trifecta.
The seventh race is an Open Allowance call for three-year-old and upwards horses going five furlongs round. Secret Identity carries much attention as this filly is a well-known speedster but THE BRAVE WHISPERER is leaving her out of the exacta. Instead, the exacta being touted to be boxed is made up of Nuclear Noon, Duke, and Race Car.
The eighth race is a three-year-old maiden event for fillies only at seven furlongs with 14 entries. This is a wide-open affair with THE BRAVE WHISPERER offering an exacta box with Sunset Silhoutte, Minidewak, and The Exodus. Add She’s My Friend for the trifecta.
The ninth race, which is the nightcap, is a three-year-old (non-winners of two) encounter over a mile with 12 horses entered. Nefertari is sure to command the bulk of betting, with the likes of Silent Mission, and to a lesser extent Giant Wheeler and Peaky Blinders commanding respect. THE BRAVE WHISPERER’S exacta box is made-up of Silent Mission, Nefertari, and Peaky Blinders. Giant Wheeler is added for the trifecta.
