KINGSTON, Jamaica – Big Dream created the always predictable upset in convincing fashion when winning the Caymanas Wednesday sixth which was a $250,000 - $200,000 claiming contest at six furlongs at odds of 23-1, the longest on the day thus far.

Big Dream ridden by Daniel Thompson, who was on his second winner this year, and conditioned by Colin Ferguson, shot off to the front and opened a wide gap on the other 11 runners in the contest.

Although weakening with half-a-furlong left to go, Thompson and Big Dream had enough in reserve to beat Radical (Phillip Parchment) by two lengths. Justsaytheword (Ruja Lahoe) finished third.

Big Dream provided trainer Ferguson with his sixth winner in 2021.
