KINGSTON, Jamaica – Blind Faith had to fight hard to earn his third career victory in the sixth of 10-races on the Saturday card currently in progress at Caymanas Park.
Blind Faith, the 4-5 on favourite ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Ian Parsard followed leader Super Amia running at odds of 99-1 (Delroy Beharie) for most of the way in the Restricted Allowance contest for four-year-olds and upwards going 6 ½ furlongs.
Super Amia continued to lead in the straight with no signs of giving up thereby forcing Walker and Blind Faith to dig deep which they did to win eventually by two lengths.
This was the second win on the card for Walker who started the show on Fabulosity.
The Superfecta paid a whopping $129,585 as fourth in the race was 99-1 shot Will To Live.
