KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Omar Walker after finishing second best in two close finishes rebounded to win the last two events on the Caymanas Park race day to go home with a spanking triple.
The final part of Walker’s triple was Shepanza bred by American Dance – Beware Baby making her a half-sister to Bigdaddykool, in the 10th and final event of the day.
Racing in a three-year-old maiden contest over 6 ½ furlongs, Shepanza took over after leaving the half-mile and thereafter kept her gallop going to win by 3 ½ lengths.
Second was Oneofakind (Reyan Lewis) and third Cold Pursuit (Phillip Parchment).
