KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Wayne Parchment provided his mother and colleague trainer Margaret Parchment, known as “Miss P” with a win on her birthday earlier today (November 21, 2018) when, the 4-year-old chestnut filly, Helena won the ninth race over 7 ½ furlongs.
Under the guidance of apprentice Matthew Bennett, Helena gave a determined effort in the straight to beat Reasons (Shamaree Muir) and Colt Of Arms (Omar Walker). The winning time was 1:38.0.
“Miss P” is also listed as a part owner of Helena.
