The seventh race of the ten-race card on Saturday, October 3, 2026, honours the former top-class campaigner I’msatisfied. The I’msatisfied Trophy is a three-year-old and Overnight Allowance call set over six furlongs.

Six horses have been entered to contest the feature event. Below, The Quick Galloper provides an in-depth preview and analysis of each runner's chances, presented in draw order for our readers' perusal.

1 – ANOTHER ONE

Another One recorded his last win in this group on August 1 going 5 1/2 furlongs, making all the running before holding off the late surge of Gallant Groom. Since that victory, he has been tested against distinctly superior opposition, including the likes of Pack Plays and Desert of Malibu. Despite his well-established early speed, Another One has demonstrated over his 24 career starts that he possesses the tactical versatility to stalk close to the pace and finish strongly. In a field with speed, he could prove a major factor in the final outcome if handled judiciously from the post.

2 – CALIFORNIA GOLD

Even with the addition of the figure-eight, California Gold appears completely out of his depth in this line-up and faces an uphill task.

3 – OIL MACHINE

Oil Machine enters this contest off the back of a claiming victory on August 29 over 6 1/2 furlongs, followed by a disappointing eighth-place finish when stretched out to 9 furlongs and 25 yards. While he comes into the race in fit condition, stepping into Overnight Allowance company over this distance will make things difficult for him.

4 – MOJITO

After five attempts in 2026, Mojito finally returned to the winner’s enclosure on August 30 with an impressive victory over six furlongs. Widely regarded as one of the island’s elite locally-bred thoroughbreds, he is a highly versatile campaigner capable of adapting to any pace dynamic or scenario. Six furlongs is his ideal distance, and his training preparation suggests he is ready. If Mojito is fit and proper for this assignment, he will be extremely tough to beat.

5 – LINGUIST

Linguist comes off an encouraging fourth-place effort, beaten by just four lengths, against superior opposition in Open Allowance company over five furlongs. One of the more talented representatives from the 2025 three-year-old crop, she has delivered consistent, solid performances since stepping into Overnight Allowance. Expect her to sustain that strong form here.

6 – SHE’S THAT GIRL

A confirmed speedster, She’s That Girl has been restricted to straight-course sprints in her last two outings. She should appreciate returning to a circular track where she can come around the turn, but notably, she has not raced beyond 5 1/2 furlongs in her last eight starts. She is the likely pacesetter, but whether her speed holds effectively over the full six furlongs remains the key question.

THE VERDICT

Mojito stands out in this line-up. Proven at six furlongs and coming off a sharp victory on August 30, he possesses both the class and tactical versatility to handle whatever pace develops.

The early fractions should be set by She’s That Girl, but her stamina over the final half-furlong remains a serious query. Another One offers the biggest threat to the favourite if ridden patient enough to pounce when the front-runners begin to tire, while Linguist steps down from Open Allowance company with every chance of winning.
