Giving Thanks was able to deliver her second success on Saturday, September 5, 2026, cruising to an easy length victory in a 5-furlong straight Restricted Allowance II event for native-bred three-year-old fillies, non-winners of two races lifetime.
The Philip Feanny trainee, a bay filly by Bern Identity out of Lightning Lily, ridden by Bebeto Harvey, reasserted her class following a some good results in this year's Classic campaign especially the fillies second, where she placed third in the 1000 Guineas and finished runner-up in the Jamaica Oaks.
Breaking cleanly, the three-year-old bay filly sat right on the pace, battling Pippa (Tajay Suckoo), Imaginearium (Paul Francis), and Following Wave (Tevin Foster) for early control. After maintaining a steady gallop through fractions of 23.3 and 47.3, Harvey gave Giving Thanks her cue inside the final furlong. The response was immediate, she hit another gear and pulled away effortlessly, crossing the line in 1:01.0.
Pippa held on for second, while Delta Gamma (Tyrese Anderson) ran on to complete the top three.
