Apprentice Anthony Frazer claimed his long-awaited first career victory on Saturday, August 29, 2026, steering Rejected Raja to victory in the fifth race at Caymanas Park.

The graduate of the Jamaica Racing Commission (JRC) Riding Programme delivered a patient, tactical ride in the $700,000–$600,000 Optional Claiming contest, run over 5 furlongs straight for native-bred five-year-olds and imported six-year-olds and upward (non-winners of four).

Breaking cleanly, Rejected Raja stalked the early pace set by the trio of Ballistic Missile (Emelio McLean), Laban (Raddesh Roman), and Posing Already (Joy Haynes).

As the field crossed the dummy rails and made their way onto the main track, Frazer asked his mount for an effort. The Ricardo Brown trainee responded instantly, unleashing a strong late burst to surge past the leaders and secure a 1¼-length victory.

Ballistic Missile held on to take second, with Titan Tempo (Tevin Foster) closing for third. The winning time was clocked at 1:02.0, with splits of 23.3 and 47.3.

The breakthrough performance officially gets the monkey off Frazer's back, marking a major milestone in the young jockey's rising career.
