After racing in mid-pack for most of the six furlongs, Lucy On The Go (Evertte Clunis) and Conundrum (Rotajmar Weir) both advanced late in the proceedings, and after a strong battle, Lucy On The Go prevailed by the shortest of margins, a nose at odds of 6-1.
The win closed a double for Clunis, while for winning trainer Renex Burrell it was his third this season.
