The second race of ten on Saturday, August 29, 2026, marks the second occasion this season that two-year-olds will lock horns.
This Maiden Special Weight event is open to foreign-bred entries and will be contested over three furlongs.
Of the five runners declared, just one is an imported entrant.
1 – BORNE IDENTITY
Two-year-old bay colt by Bern Identity out of Prixo Extremo

Borne Identity has been prepared meticulously for his debut. He has recorded four official gallops, mostly over the straight course, highlighted by a solid four-furlong clocking of 48.2 seconds on August 22. He looks ready and warrants close attention.
2 – MANDY
Two-year-old chestnut filly (May 16) by Whiskey Double out of Lady Blue Trainer – Jason DaCosta
Jockey – Abigail Able
Makes her second appearance following a debut effort on August 8 over three furlongs, where she finished fourth, eight lengths behind winner and stablemate Boss Over Boss. Mandy swerved awkwardly at the start and never threatened afterward, but that race experience should serve her well here.
3 – LEELA’S CHOICE
Two-year-old bay filly by Sir Alton out of Antoinette

Jockey – Calvin Bailey
Enters the gate for the first time after compiling a steady series of preparatory gallops. Her most recent effort was a three-furlong breeze in 36.3 seconds on August 20. She will likely use this outing to gain vital race experience.
4 – GLAMA GIRL
Two-year-old bay filly (April 8) by Bern Identity out of Indian Bluff

Jockey – Garvin Harris
Faces the starter for the second time after opening her career on August 8, where she finished fifth, eight lengths adrift of Boss Over Boss. Glama Girl remains in the early stages of her development and is expected to continue learning.
5 – BIRTHDAY KING (USA)
Two-year-old chestnut colt by Kantharos out of Always Kitten

A first-time starter who stands as the sole foreign-bred runner in the lineup. Birthday King has been heavily prepared for his debut, demonstrating early speed with a three-furlong straight gallop in 35.3 seconds on August 15, followed by a crisp four-furlong effort in 48.1 seconds on August 22. He appears primed for a big run on debut.
