The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Units 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St. Catherine, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
Jockey BEBETO HARVEY who rode GOLDEN AMBASSADOR in the first (1st) race on Sunday, July 5, 2026, was fined Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) for intimidation and interference caused to JAYDEN’S CHOICE in the vicinity of the 1200-metre point.
Jockey BEBETO HARVEY who rode MO PAI in the sixth (6th) race on Saturday, July 4, 2026, was fined Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) for excessive use of the whip during the running of the race.
Jockey JAHEIM ANDERSON who rode PRINCE DANIEL in the fifth (5th) race on Saturday, August 1, 2026, was fined Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for intimidation and interference caused to NEVER by drifting left causing the rider to take a check whilst approaching the 800-metre point of the race.
Jockey RAMON NEPARE who rode TORONADO STEEL in the first (1st) race on Thursday, August 6, 2026, was exonerated for failure to persevere during the running of the race.
