Another stalwart of the local racing, owner Alfred Lee, has passed away. He died on June 13 at the age of 91.

Throughout his long involvement in the sport, Lee owned many horses including Bold Eagle, Furiosa, Geisha’s Girl, and at one time Master Blaster. Yet his greatest pride was Perfect Neighbour, a horse he co-owned. Perfect Neighbour etched his name in history by winning both the St Leger and the Jamaica Derby. Most of Lee’s horses were trained by Wayne DaCosta.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr Lee’s family and friends as they remember his life and passion for racing.
