The fourth race of ten on Saturday, March 14, 2026, is for locally bred three-year-old maidens going five furlongs straight. Eight horses are entered to compete with The Quick Galloper’s analysis provided below for the perusal of readers.

1 – MAYBELLE

Bay filly (March 29) by Sensational Slam out of Let’s Get It On

Trainer – Jason DaCosta

Jockey – Abigail Able

Note – Maybelle races with the blinkers off

Returns after a long break of 140 days. Maybelle in her four starts as a two-year-old carried herself well, with two second place finishes, one third and a fourth-place finish. This filly has prepared well for her return, yet maybe hampered by the one draw coming down the straight.

2 - STRONG AVEENU

Bay colt (March 19) by Aveenu Malcainu out of Ruby Rose

Trainer – Patrick Lynch

Jockey – Nicardo Carr

A newcomer, who will benefit from this first outing.

3 – TOTAL ECLIPSE

Bay colt (April 10) by Savoy Stomp out of My Episode

Trainer – Alford Brown

Jockey – Oshane Nugent

From his two starts, Total Eclipse is still on a learning curve.

4 – SENSATIONAL DESTINY

Bay colt (March 17) by Successful Native out of Flying Machine

Trainer – Alford Brown

Jockey – Chris Mamdeen

Note – Sensational Destiny races with the visor and tongue tie off

Has done nothing in his three starts to suggest that Sensational Destiny is ready to find the winning post in front.

5 - SWASH BUCKLER

Chestnut colt (February 27) by Bern Identity out of Sweet Like Sugar Trainer – Peter-John Parsard

Jockey – Reyan Lewis

This colt is making his debut. Swash Buckler has caught the eyes of morning onlookers with some good spins including a 48.2 clocking over four furlongs on March 7. The observers also indicate that Swash Buckler has speed and is expected to give a good account.

6 - AWESOME STAR

Chestnut colt (June 3) by Bern Identity out of Awesome Lucy

Trainer – Peter-John Parsard

Jockey – Dane Dawkins

Another first-timer, Awesome Star has been progressing at exercise. His time is not far off.

7 – DELTA GAMMA

Bay filly (March 7) by Savoy Stomp out of Rogamma

Trainer – Carl Anderson

Jockey – Tyrese Anderson

Note – Delta Gamma races with first time Lasix

After a lone start, Delta Gamma has a long way to go.

8 – GULFSTREAM CAT

Bay filly (April 3) by Savoy Stomp out of Burning Clearance

Trainer – Carl Anderson

Jockey – Roger Hewitt

Showed speed on last, the first occasion in her four starts. After leading on March 7, Gulfstream Cat faded away. The same is expected.
