The third race on Saturday, March 14, 2026, is for native bred and imported three-year-olds maidens going 5 ½ furlongs.
Of the seven horses entered all are foreigners.
The Quick Galloper’s analysis of the possible outcome is provided below.
1 – THE TEACHA (USA)
Bay colt (Jan 1) by Thousand Words out of Flouncy
Trainer – Jason DaCosta
Jockey – Robert Halledeen
This US-bred colt has been carefully readied for his first start. On February 28, The Teacha worked 5 ½ furlongs in 1:09.0 alongside Funcaandun, then followed with 49.0 over four furlongs on March 7. His exercise reports highlight strong early speed, making him a likely contender to shape the race.
2 – COMUNA TRECE (USA)
Bay colt (May 28) by Maximum Security out of My Anguilla
Trainer – Oral Hayden
Jockey – Raddesh Roman
Equipment: visor on, figure 8 off
The most seasoned runner in the field with eight starts, but his record offers little encouragement. Comuna Trece has yet to show signs that a breakthrough win is imminent.
3 – HONEY BROWN (USA)
Bay filly (Apr 15) by Big Brown out of A.P. Hutchy
Trainer – Michael Marlowe
Jockey – Richie Shakes
With two races behind her, Honey Brown has not yet demonstrated the ability to challenge rivals at this level.
4 – WHAT A SPUN (USA)
Bay colt (Mar 16) by Spun To Run out of Miss Foo Foo
Trainer – Alford Brown
Jockey – Chris Mamdeen
Equipment: visor on, figure 8 off
Five starts have yielded little progress. What A Spun remains a work in progress and appears to need more time to develop.
5 – INFINITY STAR (USA)
Bay filly by Greenpointcrusader out of Batmitzvah
Trainer – Winchester McIntosh
Jockey – Paul Francis
Equipment: visor off, figure 8 on, first-time Lasix
She began her career with a promising second-place finish but has struggled to replicate that effort in subsequent outings. Infinity Star must show renewed spark to be competitive here.
6 – ANY MEANS (USA)
Grey colt (Mar 4) by Leofric out of Necessary
Trainer – Michael Marlowe
Jockey – Tevin Foster
Equipment: blinkers on
Consistent across three starts, including a second and a fourth. His ability to settle off the pace and finish strongly makes him a genuine player in the outcome.
7 – OLIVIA D’ORO (USA)
Brown filly (Mar 17) by Enticed out of Lil Bess
Trainer – Peter-John Parsard
Jockey – Dane Dawkins
Debuting with encouraging reports from morning gallops, Olivia D’Oro has shown got early speed and has logged at least four timed works. She enters as a live prospect and one to watch closely.
