Two-year-old chestnut colt WE JAMMIN by Bern Identity out of Jammin by Traditional) was unanimous voted as the champion two-year-old of 2025 by the voting committee members.

WE JAMMIN was victorious in his two starts as a two-year-old. Those wins came in the Abbie Grannum Memorial Trophy (seven furlongs) and the Wayne DaCosta Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes (GR1 – 8 furlongs). As a result of his win in the Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes, We Jammin is the winter book favourite for the first Classic race in 2026, the colts and geldings only, 2000 Guineas.

WE JAMMIN is owned by Paul Lumsden and trained by Peter-John Parsard. He is groomed by Frank Spencer and was bred by Vincent Lumsden.

  1. Champion two year old, wishing good luck to the connections in the classics in 2026..its quite early and who knows what surprises lay ahead for all 3-year olds
