KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was smooth sailing for Patriarch and Dane Nelson in the ninth race at the Park.
Trained by Fitzgerald Richards, Patriarch as expected shot into the lead in the field of four as Trevor’s Choice and God of Love were declared late non-starters.
Patriarch was easy on the lead in the five-furlong contest and in the straight had no challengers.
Second went to Prince Charles running on with Ras Emanuel third.
The winning time was 59.3. Patriarch provided Nelson with his third winner on the day.
