KINGSTON, Jamaica – Showing his distinctive likeness for the five straight course, K D Flyer with Dane Nelson in the saddle won the fourth race at the Park.
The event was an Optional Claimer ($650,000 - $600,000) for horses five-year-old and upwards.
Always with the pack on K D Flyer, Nelson bided his time on the Gary Griffiths charge to gain the ascendency a furlong out winning by 2 ½ lengths. Dee Danger (Oshane Nugent – 4-5) was second with Outrageous Taj (Shane Ellis – 7-1) in the third slot.
The winning time was 59.4.
