Top American based jockey Javier Castellano, who is scheduled to partner Rideallday in the 2025 Mouttet Mile on Saturday, December 6, with two winners today (November 29) at Gulfstream Park in Florida.
Castellano started in race one when he brought home horse number seven Epic Lady Luck for trainer Brian Lynch.
The post-race report reads as follows: “EPIC LADY LUCK was away alertly and crossed over to set a pressured pace and shook clear on the turn to be clear by the quarter pole, was put to right-handed crop urging and held well to prove best while being kept to task.”
Castellano followed up in race ten, winning atop number five, Strategic Risk trained by Mark Casse.
The post-race report reads as follows. “STRATEGIC RISK was allowed to settle along the inside, made a steady advance up the inside down the backside, moved out to make a three wide bid and took over and drew off in the lane to prove much the best while being kept to right-handed crop urging.”
