KINGSTON, Jamaica – England’s Rose a full sister to She’s A Maneater due to injuries was coming off a long rest in today’s seventh race and proved that she is now fit and ready with a gate to wire performance to win the six-furlong Hot Line Stakes.

The Hot Line – a three-year-old non-winners of two contest – for fillies only, saw England’s Rose ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Wayne DaCosta bursting to the lead from the off and that, as they say, was simply that for the rest of the field.

England’s Rose looked smart in the straight pulling away to win by eight lengths in a fast clocking of 1:12.0 after burning splits of 22.4 x 45.2.

England’s Rose’s time was one and three-fifths of a second faster than the time recorded by Nipster in the Sir Howard.

Second behind England’s Rose was Glock (Oneil Mullings) with Another Affair (Anthony Thomas) in the third slot.
