Atomica, the two-time Horse of the Year and one of Jamaica’s most accomplished locally bred fillies, has officially retired from competitive racing. She is set to begin the next chapter of her life at the YS Stud Farm on Tuesday, September 30.
Confirmation of her retirement came from long-time trainer Gary Subratie, who guided the chestnut mare through a stellar career that included a track record over nine and a half furlongs.
