KINGSTON, Jamaica – Big Up Yuhself a bay colt by Blue Pepsi Lodge – My Heartbeat stated his racing career on a winning note after winning the fourth race of 11 a short while ago at Caymanas Park.
The race was a Maiden Special Weight for three-year-old colts and geldings only run over four furlongs.
Big Up Yuhself ridden by Dane Nelson and trained by Anthony Nunes was quickly away - planted on the outside rails.
With two furlongs to go, Nelson let loose and won easily by close to two lengths.
Redford (Reyan Lewis 5-1) was second with Cold Pursuit (Abigail Able 1-1) in third.
