KINGSTON, Jamaica – Well-known local owner Michros teamed with fellow Jamaican, trainer Jose Pinchin to win the sixth race of ten on the Sunday (July 13) card at Gulfstream Park in Florida with Trelawny. Pinchin is also a part owner of Trelawny.
Trelawny, ridden by Jose Morelos won a two-year-old Maiden Special Weight event on the dirt going six furlongs. The recorded splits were 22.0 x 46.0 x 58.4 for a final time of 1:12.0.
The post-race report reads as follows: “TRELAWNY well placed to turn, inside bid nearing the quarter pole, drew away in the stretch.”
Michros is also the part breeder of Trelawny along with Tracy Pinchin.
