KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Roger Hewitt secured another win at the Assiniboia Downs race track in Canada on Wednesday, July 10, 2025.
Hewitt success was achieved aboard the Elton Dickey trained Counter Command.
In a driving finish, Hewitt nicked fellow Jamaican Neville Stephenson on Go Fer.
The post-race report reads as follows: “The COUNTER COMMAND dueled three-wide to turn, dueled outside turn and through the stretch, responded gamely to hold safe.”
