The odds forecasters at Quickgallopja.com have released their opening projections for the 1000 Guineas, set to take place in early June over a mile.

HANSA: A RISING TALENT
After her victory in The Thornbird, Hansa’s connections opted to bypass The Portmore. That win showcased her growing ability, making her a serious contender for the 1000 Guineas. A mile should not be an issue for Hansa, who is given 2-1 odds.

LINGUIST: A POTENTIAL UPSET?
Linguist had a disappointing run in The Portmore, struggling with a poor start and traffic issues to finish eighth. However, if she gets a clear run in the 1000 Guineas, she could make an impact. Her odds stand at 7-1.
