KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Dane Nelson made a dream start on the opening day of the Century Mile 2025 season on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
Nelson booted home three winners started with the first race when he piloted the Gonzalo Anderson trained Thatswhatiamherefor going five furlongs.
The former local champion followed with his second win in race seven atop Alluring Ali also for trainer Anderson.
The Nelson triple was completed in race nine, the final on the Century Mile opening card, on Bootiful Rose trained by Carson Frey
Commenting on his triple start to the season, Nelson said: “My goal this year is to win the championship again and I am off to a good start. I am grateful”.
