On April 26, Henry secured two wins. The first came in the third race over seven furlongs, where he piloted Blitz Strike, trained by Phillip Lee. Later in the fifth race, Henry rode Bestdaughterinlaw, trained by Vincent Atkinson, to another victory. Breaking sharply, Bestdaughterinlaw controlled the pace from the start, fending off a late challenge from Bella Bella to prevail by a head in a thrilling finish.
Henry’s winning efforts extended to April 27, where he rode Lockdown, trained by Howard Jaghai. Initially, Don Kwesi, ridden by Calvin Bailey, crossed the line first, with Lockdown finishing second. However, Henry lodged an objection, contesting the result. Upon review, the stewards upheld his claim, overturning the initial outcome and declaring Lockdown the winner.
These victories, including his April 19 success aboard Brompton Boy, propelled Henry’s career win tally at Caymanas Park to 771, solidifying his status as one of the track’s elite jockeys.
