KINGSTON, Jamaica - The second race of nine on Saturday, March 22, 2025, features locally bred four-year-olds at the non-winners of three level and foreign bred four-year-olds who are non-winners of two.

The race will cover a distance of one mile and includes six horses.

Below is the Quick Galloper’s assessment for readers:

1 - BATTLE ANGEL: Since winning for the second time on November 23, 2024, Battle Angel has struggled to remain competitive. The return of winning jockey Dick Cardenas is a positive sign. A stronger performance is anticipated for Battle Angel, especially over this mile distance.

2 - PINEAPPLE: After finally securing a victory while running six furlongs, this foreign bred filly faces a challenging task racing against multiple winners for the first time. Nevertheless, she is likely to gain valuable experience from this outing.

3 - LUCY IN THE SKY: Since entering the non-winners of three category, Lucy In The Sky has faced difficulties. It appears unlikely that she will make a significant impact in this race.

4 - TRAIN OF THOUGHT: This horse has not adapted well to the higher grades since winning her maiden on December 21, 2024. A further winning run seems to be on hold for now.

5 - TITAN TEMPO: A consistent competitor, Titan Tempo has secured a place on the board in all 12 of his starts and is well-suited to the mile distance. He performs best when leading, which should not be a major concern in this race.

6 - OIL MACHINE: Reuniting with his last winning jockey, Raddesh Roman, Oil Machine has made impressive strides to qualify for this level. His best performances come when racing from the front. Titan Tempo may pose a challenge, but with his experience, Oil Machine stands a strong chance of victory.
