KINGSTON, Jamaica – Champion trainer Anthony Nunes is already dominating the 2020 racing year as Rohan Kabir provided him with his second winner on the day and for the year.

Ridden by Simon Husbands, Rohan Kabir was kept off the early pace set by Key Witness (Trevor Simpson -26-1) and Universal Boss (Anthony Allen – 2-1).

Universal Boss took over in the $750,000 - $700,000 Optional claimer run over a mile after four furlongs were completed and entered the straight with that lead, while Husbands got Rohan Kabir rolling on the outside.

Another half-a-furlong went by before Rohan Kabir and Husbands stormed to the front and from there it was all over for the rest.

Big Bang (Dane Nelson – 1-2) finished second with Universal Boss third – making it a one-two-three- finish for Nunes in the race which was run for the City of Kingston Centenary Cup.

The winning time was 1:40.1.
