KINGSTON, Jamaica – The late blooming filly Truly Amazing by Traditional – Runnin on Empty has now raced three times and has won three times, all over the straight course.
Today in a Restricted Allowance for fillies and mares at the non-winners of three grouping, the Spencer Chung trainee back on her home ground of five furlongs straight once again showcased her undoubted talent with another facile victory.
Ridden by regular partner Aaron Chatrie, Truly Amazing was kept of the pace set by Just Trick Me – (Raddesh Roman – 34-1). After two furlongs were completed Chatrie started to push Truly Amazing and the filly gathered speed blowing by rivals to win by five lengths.
Sir Kel (Youville Pinnock – 8-1) was second with Splendid Vision (Reyan Lewis – 13-1) third.
Truly Amazing clocked a very fast 58.2 with scorching splits of 22.2 x 45.0.
The time done by Truly Amazing was two-fifths of a second faster than the one recorded by the more celebrated Patriarch in today’s second race.
