KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a speed, speed and more speed effort in the fifth race on today’s programme at Caymanas Park as She’s A Hit squandered the opposition to win the three-year-old – non-winners of two event.

Leaving the gates in the five furlong round contest, jockey Trevor Simpson put She’s A Hit trained by Louis Richards in front and at one stage the chestnut filly was about 10 lengths in front.

In the last two furlongs, She’s A Hit was still in front but the filly started to shorten a bit. However, she had done enough to get home by 2 ¼ lengths.

Second went to Suasion (Anthony Thomas – 5-2) with Another Prosecutor (Roger Hewitt – 7-1) third.

She’s A Hit won in a time of 1:00.4 with splits of 22.3 x 45.3.
