Chris Mamdeen, Patrick Lynch get last race day of 2019 started with Smarty Tradition at 6-1

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The last race day of 2019 is now underway at Caymanas Park with the first race going to the Patrick Lynch trained Smarty Tradition.

With champion jockey elect apprentice Christopher Mamdeen in the saddle, Smarty Tradition starting at odds of 6-1 came with a strong late run to get by leader Classy Miss (Dane Dawkins – 3-1) in the last half-a-furlong of the Restricted Stakes offering for four-year-olds and upwards qualifiers run over 5 ½ furlongs.

Second went to Classy Miss with Blusie (Daniel Satchell – 5-2) third.
