KINGSTON, Jamaica - Shaheem Gordon, another of the recent Jockeys’ Training School graduates, earned his first official win when he guided home the Lennis Shim trained Let Him Fly.
Riding for the first time since graduating, Gordon pushed Let Him Fly into the early lead and then was able to judge his pace well, culminating in a 5 ¼ length victory in an Optional Claiming call ($500,000 - $300,000) going 7 ½ furlongs.
