Money Call at 6-5 with Anthony Thomas gets Boxing Day card underway

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Boxing Day nine-race programme got off to a reasonable start for punters when the 6-5 second favourite, Money Call obliged.

Money Call ridden by outgoing champion jockey Anthony Thomas and trained by the rejuvenated Michael Francis surged through with a half a furlong to go, winning authoritatively in the end by 3 ½ lengths.

The event won by Money Call was a Maiden Condition for four year olds and upwards contested over 6 ½ furlongs.

There was a dead heat for second involving Lambana (Omar Simpson) and Dynamax Cat.

The odds on 1-2 favourite, Shesaysyes ridden by Shane Ellis finished in the fifth spot.
